Air California Memorabilia
Founded in 1967 out of John Wayne Airport, Air California started out as an intrastate airline and flew its first route between Orange County and San Francisco. The name was changed to AirCal and the group was eventually acquired by American Airlines in 1987.
Several of AirCal's 737 found their way to Southwest Airlines and the last one was finally put out in the pasture in 2012.
