About Northwest Orient Airlines
Northwest started in 1926 as Northwest Airways and lasted until 2008 when it was merged into Delta. When Northwest began operating Pacific flights to Asia in the 1940s, it began to market itself as Northwest Orient. It kept this name until it merged with Republic Airlines in 1986 and from that point on went by Northwest Airlines.Shirt Features
