This Pan Am poster was designed by an unknown artist in 1947. It features a Boeing 337 Statocruiser with the stars and stripes of the American flag. Following World War II, Pan Am was the unofficial airline of the country and frequently used the post-war patriotism to its marketing advantage. It changed its name to Pan American World Airways to highlight its massive network of global routes and exotic destinations.
The design is printed on durable paper and surrounded by a 12" x 18" matte black frame.
