About Empire Airlines
Empire Air Lines began life as Zimmerly Air Lines operating out of Idaho. It operated a small fleet of DC-3s and Boeing 247s inside Idaho state lines between Boise, Lewiston, Pocatello, and Coeur d’Alene. Empire merged into West Coast Airline in the 1950s.
